How to Choose an English-Speaking Skin Clinic in Seoul (2026 Checklist)
By Dr. IM JUNHYUNG · Updated
1. Who actually performs the treatment?
In busy clinics the doctor you meet may not be the one who treats you. Ask directly who will perform the procedure, and whether that doctor signs your record.
2. Will they write the numbers down?
Shot counts, units and filler volumes should be agreed before treatment and checked after — ideally on a record you can take home.
3. Can you see the product being opened?
Sealed tips, cartridges and injectables with visible lot numbers are the simplest proof of genuine products.
4. Is the clinic registered for international patients?
Korea registers medical institutions that attract foreign patients. Registration is a basic sign the clinic operates legally for visitors.
5. What happens after you fly home?
Ask how you can send photos and who reviews them. A written treatment record helps any doctor back home.
6. Do they plan around your flight?
Some treatments leave redness or bruising for days. A good clinic asks your departure date before suggesting anything.
